20 Sept: Lodged a request on the website. Requesting to get the carpet repaired within the next 2 weeks. Informed them to contact me during weekdays after 2:10 PM. 23 Sept: Got a SMS from them asking me if they could check out our carpet at 3:45 pm on the weekend. Later apologized saying they have read my email and realized I would not be free on the weekend. 3 Oct: No reponses from them. Followed them up with an SMS. Got a reply and confirmed to visit us the next day. 4 Oct: Site visit. Informed us that we would get a quote in 2 days. 19 Oct: No updates. Followed up with another SMS. No replies. A reply to the owner: I do not mind if it will take time. If you have informed us it’d take a month to the quote, we will be happy to wait. You said the quote will be ready in two days…we waited for two weeks. Tried to contact you but didn’t get any replies. That’s the bit that got me. If you cannot deliver the quote in the time you specified, please don’t overpromise.

I got Dale out to fix some bulges and bumps in my carpet before christmas. I was desperate to get the work done at short notice as we had guests staying over on Christmas day. Dale went out of his way to fit us in, and got it done on time. This guy really knows his stuff and even though he had to chop some pieces out when stretching the carpet flat, he matched the patterns perfectly so it was seamless afterwards. Good to see guys that are at the top of their game in action.

Dale had to fix up another company’s botched job on my stairwell carpet. He came in an worked miracles and his prices are not astronomical. We had a cat which had originally trashed the stairs by clawing at them, and initially Sam’s Carpets came in an made the whole thing much worse and dangerous with loose carpet and poor workmanship. I found Dale from “Carpet Repairs and Invisible Mending” and he was able to repair the work to a point where it is now almost invisible.
